My client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Structural & Civil Engineer to join their team in Cork

Position Overview:

As the Structural & Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and delivering projects in sectors including roads, highways, water systems, and large-scale residential developments.

This full-time position offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule and a competitive salary of up to €95,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and an in-depth knowledge of Irish regulations and standards. This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in roads, highways, water systems, or large-scale residential projects.
• Strong design capabilities and project leadership skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Irish regulations, standards, and local landscapes.
• Chartered status is desirable but not essential.
• A full driving licence is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of diverse engineering projects.
• Develop innovative solutions to address complex engineering challenges.
• Manage project teams and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
