Our client is a leading provider of roadside assistance and vehicle repair services across Ireland, recognized for their outstanding customer service and reliability. They are currently seeking motivated Patrol Assistants to join their team in Dublin and Cork. Position Overview:

As a Patrol Assistant, you will support our Patrol Mechanics by providing exceptional roadside assistance and customer service. With a base salary of €34,200, you can expect on-target earnings ranging from €48,000-€58,000, including shift allowances, overtime, and performance bonuses. This role offers a 40-hour workweek, clear rosters, and the opportunity to engage directly with customers while enjoying the flexibility of being out on the road.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

There will be huge opportunities for upskilling, personal progression and development within this role, my client is known for investing in and really looking after their staff, a large number of staff who work there are with the company long term which only happens if things are right internally.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Patrol Mechanics with on-site vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Provide high-quality roadside assistance and support to customers.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy before they are back on the road.
• Maintain and manage service tools and equipment.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold company standards.
• Complete detailed records of services and assistance provided.
• Work within scheduled shifts and handle seasonal overtime as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a support or assistant role within vehicle maintenance or roadside assistance is preferred.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and flexibility for various shifts and overtime.
• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
