JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client – an award-winning accountancy practice based in Dublin city centre is looking for a newly qualified accountant to join their team. Responsibilities:


• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct audits and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Provide tax planning and compliance services, including the preparation of tax returns and advising on tax-efficient strategies.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to help clients make informed business decisions.
• Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
• Participate in business development activities, including client meetings and networking events.

Requirements:


• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of Irish accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:
• Experience in an accounting firm or a similar role.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards.
• Familiarity with tax software and other financial management tools.
