JOB DESCRIPTION

My client, a leading provider of landscaping and forestry services, this company specializes in transforming outdoor spaces into sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environments, is seeking a motivated and dedicated Foreman to join their team in Dublin

Position Overview:


As a Foreman, you will play key leadership role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of on-site projects. You will also be responsible for supervising a team of workers, and ensuring that tasks such as planting, grass seeding, mulching, and general landscape maintenance are completed to high standards of quality and efficiency. The Foreman will work closely with the Contracts Manager and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

This position offers a full-time schedule, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a consistent and structured workweek.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly. Key

Requirements:


• Proven experience in a leadership role within landscaping, forestry, or a similar field.
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications (required)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Responsibilities:


• Manage and supervise a crew of landscapers and forestry workers
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Safety Officer to ensure project compliance and safety standards
• Set out plants, coordinate planting, grass seeding, and mulching
• Oversee general landscape maintenance and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
• Ensure all site work meets the required quality and safety standards
• Maintain effective communication with the team and management
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and crew to ensure timely project completion
