My client, a leading name in bespoke joinery who is dedicated to transforming visions into finely crafted realities, is currently seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Joiner for their Workshop in Portlaoise, Co. Laois

Position Overview:

As a Cabinet Maker/Joiner, you will be responsible for crafting and assembling custom joinery products in our workshop, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality and precision. Your role is crucial in producing the bespoke joinery that our clients expect, using a variety of woodworking techniques and machinery. You will collaborate with the project team to meet production deadlines and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

This role requires flexibility, including the potential for weekend work, and offers a competitive hourly wage of €36,500 to €46,600 per year. You will also have use of a company van for going to sites from the Head Office.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker/Joiner
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and woodworking machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends if required.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Craft and assemble custom joinery products to precise specifications.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure all products meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Ensuring they are wearing PPE at all times
• Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.
