JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leading global professional services firm with a significant presence in Dublin. Renowned for its expertise and excellence, the firm operates in over 80 countries and employs more than 40,000 professionals worldwide. They are dedicated to providing exceptional financial and advisory services to a diverse range of clients.

They are looking for an Associate Director with a minimum of 5 years’ practice experience to work in their Private Clients department. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior management, managing a diverse portfolio of clients from a range of SME’s / Private Clients. This role offers a mix of advisory and compliance services, making it ideal for a professional with a strong background in tax-based business solutions.

Responsibilities:


• Manage and develop the firm’s relationships with a portfolio of private clients, coordinating service offerings from other departments.
• Ensure timely payment and return filing for a portfolio of private tax clients.
• Advise private clients on business structures, transfer pricing, profit repatriations, and succession planning opportunities in collaboration with partners.
• Act as a key member of an integrated client service team, handling a variety of tax advisory projects.
• Contribute to departmental targets for billing, net fee income, and cash collection, as well as achieving personal and firm-wide goals.
• Lead business development and marketing initiatives at the firm, department, and team levels.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements:


• AITI qualified and a certified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of practice experience.
• Proven experience working with private clients in a professional services firm.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, and case law.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and nurture client relationships to completion.
• Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Ability to work to deadlines and perform well under pressure.
• Proficient in using tax and financial software, along with advanced computer literacy skills.
