My client, a well-established and growing construction company who specialise in residential new builds, retrofitting, social housing developments, and high-end residential projects, is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join their team.

Position Overview:

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the plumbing trade. This role offers hands-on training in a variety of projects, including residential new builds, retrofitting, and high-end housing and apartment developments. You'll learn to install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems while gaining insight into industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices.

This position offers a competitive salary of €38,000 to €45,000 per year which can be negotiated for experienced candidates. As well as a 4-day working week (Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-5:00 pm) for the optimum work/life balance.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience or exposure to plumbing, especially in residential and new build projects, is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn on the job.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable transport to travel to various sites within the Greater Dublin Area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems across various projects.
• Support retrofitting projects, including upgrading and modernizing plumbing and heating systems.
• Work on high-end residential and apartment blocks to ensure quality and precision.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Learn and adhere to industry regulations and best practices.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
